Sharing your experiences is how we keep this community strong. Follow this guide to get your post live, manage your locations, and keep your content organized.
HOW TO CREATE A POST
When you’re ready to share, the process is quick and direct. Make sure you have your details and images ready to go before you start.
Steps to post a man (expand)
Tap the black "+" button located in the center of the bottom navigation bar.
Select "Man post" from the options.
Enter his name, specific details, and upload any relevant images.
Review your info and click "Create post" to take it live. If you don't hit "Create post," your details won't be saved or submitted.
Once live, the post will appear in the feed of every woman within 100 miles of the city you selected.
Regardless of the city, your post is instantly searchable by any woman across the entire country.
MANAGING LOCATIONS AND VISIBILITY
Tea is built to be local, but we know people move around. You can control where your post shows up by editing the city field.
Location rules and multiple cities (expand)
If you want to post someone who lives in a different area, simply edit the "City" field and choose the correct location.
Tea currently only supports cities within the United States; non-US cities will not be accepted.
To post a man in multiple cities, you must create a separate post for each city one by one.
Avoid posting the same man in cities that are right next to each other. Because the feed already covers a 100-mile radius, "stacking" posts in nearby cities is unnecessary.
We enforce a strict No Duplicates Policy. If we see a man posted in succession in the same city or nearby areas, the duplicates will be removed to keep the feed clean.
If you post a man in a city more than 100 miles from your current location, it won't show up in your personal feed, but it is still active and searchable.
EDITING AND TRACKING YOUR POSTS
You don't have to get it perfect the first time. You can update your posts whenever new information comes to light.
Updating and finding your content (expand)
To make changes, tap the three-dot button at the top right of your post and select "Edit post."
In the edit menu, you can update the details, add or remove photos, and re-order your images.
You can find all of your previous submissions at any time by tapping the three-line icon to access your account settings and clicking "My Posts."
You will receive instant notifications whenever another user adds a comment or marks your post with a red or green flag.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS REFRESH
Reminder on what's not allowed (expand)
We do not allow the posting of women under any circumstances, even if they are a former partner.
You must click "create post" after adding your details to ensure the submission is finalized and visible to the community.
The app only supports U.S. cities and will not accept any international locations at this time.
