We want to reward you for helping us grow the community. When you bring your friends into the fold, we give you the keys to our Premium features at no cost.

 What you unlock with invites (expand) 

  • Inviting friends gives you unlimited free access to our Premium plan features.

  • You can search all existing posts and access community insights from across the entire nation.

  • You gain the ability to filter posts by location to see what’s happening in your specific area.

  • You can set unlimited alerts for specific names and phone numbers so you never miss a new post.

  • Please note that Pro features—like background checks, criminal record searches, sex offender checks, phone number lookups, and reverse image searches—are part of our separate paid plan.

INVITATION REQUIREMENTS 

To keep our community data secure and relevant, we have specific guidelines on who can join the platform.

 Invite rules and restrictions (expand) 

  • Tea is currently only available for users within the United States.

  • You cannot invite anyone who resides outside of the U.S., as they will not be able to access the app or features.

  • Friends will not be able to join if they are not using a US-based app store and a US-based IP address.

TROUBLESHOOTING INVITE ISSUES

If the invite process is giving you trouble, don’t sweat it. We’ll look into it and get it fixed so you and your friends can get back to the conversation.

 Filing a support ticket (expand) 

  • If you’re having a hard time inviting friends, you can file a Support ticket right here in our Help Center.

  • Click the "Still stuck? Submit a ticket" button at the top of this article or find the "Submit a ticket" button in the footer at the bottom of any page.

  • Select the "Feature Problem" issue type from the dropdown menu.

  • Let us know in the description that you’re having trouble with the invite box, and our team will take care of it for you.
