Claims of factual inaccuracies of non-users
Tea is a platform where women share their personal experiences and stories to help protect others. We understand that being the subject of a post can be upsetting, especially if you believe the information shared is inaccurate.
Tea provides the space for discourse, but we are not the authors of the content. As a platform for third-party speech, we do not mediate personal disputes or determine the "absolute truth" of individual dating experiences.
OUR STANCE ON DISPUTED CONTENT
We believe in community accountability and the right of our users to share their warnings and lived experiences. We prioritize the mission of providing a safe space for women to warn one another about potential threats.
Not allowed (expand)
An allegation of falsehood is not a legal mandate for removal.
We do not take sides in "he-said, she-said" arguments or personal disagreements.
If a post is upsetting but does not violate a specific safety policy, it will remain live.
We encourage individuals to address personal disputes through direct communication with their partners, past and present.
WHEN WE WILL INTERVENE

You must provide the exact permalink to the post; screenshots are helpful, but not sufficient for our review.
Clearly identify which specific Community Guideline you believe has been violated, and write that in the "Any Other Information" textbox.
Provide a concise, factual description of the violation.
RESOLUTION AND FINALITY
Once our team reviews a report, we will notify you of our decision via email.
Understanding the outcomes (expand)
If our team determines the post does not violate a specific policy, the post will remain live.
We do not offer an appeals process for disputes regarding the factual accuracy of a post.
We reserve the right to preserve all correspondence and reported content for legal and compliance purposes.
Once a final decision has been communicated, we consider the matter closed.
